Quotes

This page contains a number of excellent quotes from the Game - Kudos to all the players involved.

Mint (on encountering Josette and Captain Medraut)

Does she even get embarrassed that her big wooden breasts lead the Pirate ship around like a poorly placed flotation device? I doubt it. She's probably too busy having totally not incestuous hot pirate sex and being rude to strangers by not introducing herself. Seriously, I'm going to be late for a party where I'm the last minute pathetic fifth wheel pity guest for this? Bleys probably disappeared for a nooner with the maids. Reena is probably in the secret Shadow of buff princes who think women with weapon skills are hot and who are totally not related to us, but she won't answer her Trump because she doesn't want to share. More princes for her. Instead I get to back up my closeted gay cousin in dealing with Golden Eyed Rude Pirate Girl.

Reena (on encountering a guardian beast when trying to steal trumps from Fernand)

This is all Prospero's fault. I was having a good time in the Land of 1000 Princes when his messages started showing up. When I get out of this I deserve a return trip. Maybe I'll bring Mint along for company. No, she'd probably just close her eyes, lay back, and think of Amber. Waste of a perfectly prefect prince.

Triton (when talking about creating a Rebman rival ring to Amber's Golden Circle)

"The Silver Circle? No, no, no. It should be something more suited to our undersea life. How about the Ring of Pearls? Seems more fitting."

Mint (on talking to the Keir about incest)

"Still don't let my provincial upbringing discomfit you. I hardly set the standards for familial propriety. I could introduce you to cousin Reena who considers inhibitions something that happen to other people."

Kierenne (her over the top reaction to Mint saying that she'd eaten far worse things than the bloodworms)

"So, are you satisfied that our masks hide no nefarious weapons? Or would you like to compare us to carrion some more?" Kierenne turns to her brother. "Did you hear, brother? She has seen and even eaten things more disgusting than we. What a compliment. 'Am I beautiful?' 'You're not the most ugly thing I've seen.' Oh yes, fine."

Aiden (discussing the nature of truth with Prospero - a commodity indeed!)

"As to its importance, that would depend on whose truth it is, I suppose. I find truth is usually a 'relative' thing. I prefer to deal in knowledge. As for 'truth' being a commodity, that is very often the case. Am I correct in supposing that 'truth' is on the market today? And what price do we put on this valuable commodity ?"
